Episode 26
Help, My Child is Stressed Over Exams!
Stress is a common experience for us and our kids, especially when we are placed in high pressure situations – like the exams.
While exam stress may be unavoidable, they are opportunities for us to help our children learn how to regulate difficult emotions and build them up in resilience.
In this episode of the ParentEd Podcast, our host, Ee Jay, is joined by Jasmine Lu – a mum of two kids and a parent-coach who specialises in emotional intelligence. She shares how understanding emotions can come in handy in helping our children manage stress, useful and practical ways we can help them regulate their emotions from a young age, and ways to create open conversations with our kids on big emotions. Don’t miss out on the C.A.L.M. framework that can help our children keep calm when stress levels are high!
