Episode 6

Parenting Teens: When and How to Let Go of Control

Letting go of control over our teens is a very critical topic that many parents grapple with. Whether it's allowing them more independence, trusting their decisions, finding the right balance can be a challenge.

In this episode of the ParentEd Podcast, our host, June Yong, is joined by Pamela, a mother of three teens between the ages of 14 to 17. She shares candidly her journey of learning to relinquish control as she learns to empathise with her kids and discovers ways to guide them in self-management as they grow in independence. While it can be a challenging phase, Pamela also shares glimpses of the beauty of letting go.
