Episode 7

Raising Digitally-Savvy Kids – Discerning Fact from Fiction

How prevalent is online harm in Singapore? What are some things we can do to help our kids recognise and deal with fake or harmful content online?

In this first episode of a two-part series, our host, Aaron Ng, is joined by Darius Lee, Executive director of Cultivate SG, an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to cultivating culture for the common good. Darius talks about the different harms that lurk in the online space and how these can negatively impact society at large. He also shares practical ways we can help our kids develop the necessary skills to tell apart truth from falsehood in the digital climate of widespread information.
